Aloo or Potato or Batata is produced and consume in abundance in across entire India. It costs less. It is very rich in starch and is used in every course of Indian meal, be it snacks, breakfast, Dry curry, Gravy curry, Paratha, Indian Appetizer and many others. Since it is very high in starch and with very high glycemic index, it is not at all recommended for diabetic and weight conscious ones.
