Potato Bread CutletPotato bread cutlet is healthy Indian starter recipe. Bread nuggets is made by using bread, rawa, cumin powder, coriander leaves, salt, green chili, onion, ginger and potato. You can serve as a snack or starter. Serve with tomato sauce or green chutney. If you want less oil, then you do shallow fry.

  • Bread (cut the edges out) – 4 Slices
  • Potato (boil and mash) – 2 nos.
  • Rawa – 2 tbsp
  • Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves – 2-3 tbsp
  • Cumin Powder – 1 tbsp
  • Finely Chopped Onion – 2 medium
  • Chopped Green Chili – 1/2 tbsp
  • Finely Chopped Ginger – 1/2 tbsp
  • Oil for Deepfrying –
  • Salt as per taste –


  • In a bowl, add bread, rawa, cumin powder, little water, coriander leaves, salt, green chili, onion, ginger and potato, mix well.
  • Take small amount of the mixture and give it your desired shape or round or tikkis.
  • Heat the oil in a pan on medium flame, slide the 3-4 tikkis.
  • Fry it till they turns little golden brown and crisp on both side.
  • Serve hot bread nuggets with green chutney.
