Sweet Potato / Shakarkand
Sweet potato has yellow flesh and it is thin skin may either be brown, yellow, red or purple. Sweet potato is used in varied ways like boiled, steamed, fried etc. Sweet potato can be used to make cutlet, sweet dish, pie, bread, muffins or pudding. Baked sweet potatoes are delicious even when served with cold or hot milk. A freshly baked or boiled sweet potato is delicious and nutritious. Sweet potatoes are an excellent source of vitamin A. They are also a very good source of vitamin C and manganese. It is a richest low-fat source of vitamin E.
