Tomato / Tamatar
The tomato is consumed in diverse ways, including raw or cooked, as an ingredient in many dishes, sauces, salads, soup, curry and drinks. They can be red, yellow, orange or green in color. Tomatoes are an excellent source of vitamin C, vitamin A, and vitamin K. Tomatoes can be added to the diet in many different ways. Raw tomatoes can be chopped, sliced or grilled and added to omelets, salads, sandwiches and main dishes.
