Sukha puri recipe is made of flat puris stuffed with potatoes, spice, chutney and sev. It is very tasty and tangy. It is a delicious and spicy recipe. Sev puri is an Indian snack and a type of chaat. It is a speciality that originates from Mumbai.

  • Puri – 20-25 nos. (you can buy readymade puris or make them at home)
  • Boiled potatoes  – 1-2 nos.
  • Finely Chopped onion – 1/4 cup
  • Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves – 1 tbsp
  • Roasted Cumin Powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Chaat Masala – 1 tbsp
  • Red Chill Powder – 1/4 tbsp
  • Plain Sev – 2 tbsp
  • Black Salt as per taste
  • Tamrind Chutney – 1/2 tbsp
  • Green Chutney – 1/2 tbsp


  • Arrange the puris on a plate make a hole in each puri in the centre.
  • Fill with a potato cubes.
  • Add about 1/4 tsp of tamarind chutney and green chutneys in each.
  • Sprinkle roasted cumin powder, black salt and  red chili powder.
  • Sprinkle chopped onions and sev all over the puris.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve sukha puri immediately.
